ECM32 - XXXII European Crystallographic Meeting

MaThCryst Satellite Conference

Wien, Austria, 16 - 18 August 2019

The XXXII European Crystallographic Meeting will be held from 18 to 23 August 2019 in Vienna, Austria.

The IUCr Commission on Mathematical and Theoretical Crystallography (MaThCryst) plans to organise a Satellite Conference.

Tentative Program

16 August, full day: Modular structures, partial operations and space groupoids

17 August, full day: Fundamentals of graph theory and its application to the description and interpretation of crystal structures.

18 August, morning: Contributed talks from the partipants

Lectures

Venue

The Satellite will be held at the Technische Universität Wien.

Special issue announcement

Participants to the Satellite, as well as participants to the summer school in Nancy, are invited to submit contributions to a special issue of Crystal Research and Technology that will be published on occasion of these two events. Deadline for submission: 30 September 2019. Details will follow.

Poster presentations

Participants will have the occasion to present their work with contributed talks on 18 August, as well as with posters that will remain on display during the whole satellite meeting. Abstracts of both presentations will be collected in advance and made available from the satellite website in electronic format. Articles issued from these presentations will be considered for the special issue mentioned above; manuscripts will undergo a regular peer-review process.
